LANLink has always provided access to basic telematics features, including GPS tracking. From LANLink V5.8.8 onwards, the platform also includes new safety features .

The new safety features bring together GPS, CAN and Driver ID to provide:

• Overspeed detection
• Driver ID, line and route information from ticket machines
• Reporting with charts, tables and lists
• GPS map matching
• Various scoring systems

LANLink uses recorded CAN engineering data recording from the vehicle.

CAN recording is built in to Timespace V700 and V600 digital video recorders.

For the Timespace V400, a separate CANLink unit can be installed to access CAN data.

Driver ID has been developed through integration with selected ticket machines.

Timespace provides the Safety features as standard within the LANLink platform with no additional subscriptions.
